Mono Colombia

Collections

Incoming Bre-B payments — QR codes and settlement events.

A collection is an incoming Bre-B payment to one of your tenant accounts. You receive collections by displaying a Bre-B QR code that encodes a payment instruction, or by sharing a payment key registered against the tenant account. Once the payer authorizes the payment in their banking app, Mono receives it from the network, credits your tenant account, and notifies you with a webhook.

Collections are the payin half of Bre-B Participant. Use them whenever your business needs to receive money on Bre-B — checkout, kiosk top-ups, donation pages, or any moment when the payer initiates a bank-to-bank payment.

Two ways to receive

MethodUse case
Generated QREach collection has its own QR with a fixed amount and reference. Best for checkout and one-time payments.
Static payment keyThe same key receives any number of payments. Best for ongoing relationships (utility billing, donations).

Lifecycle

Every collection moves through a deterministic state machine — createdready → optionally minimum_paidpaid, with discarded and failed as alternate terminal outcomes. See the Collection lifecycle page for the full state diagram, per-state walkthrough, and the webhook event that maps to each transition.

Data model

The full schema lives in the Bre-B Participant collections API reference.

Webhook events

Collections emit events on every state transition. See Webhook payloads.
