Mono Colombia

Core

Programmable ledger, card issuing, and payout primitives.

Core is the part of Mono that lets you build financial products on top of programmable primitives. Where Banking handles money in and out of Colombian bank accounts, Core handles what happens with the money once it is yours to manage: a double-entry ledger that tracks every cent, virtual and physical card issuing, spending controls, and payout disbursement.

Use Core to build wallets, marketplace seller balances, expense management products, neobanking experiences, and any other case that requires you to hold value, account for it, and let end users spend or move it.

Use Core to:

  • Hold balances for end users in a programmable, auditable ledger.
  • Issue virtual or physical cards and decide which transactions to authorize in real time.
  • Set spending limits per card, per user, or per category.
  • Disburse payouts to internal ledger accounts or external destinations.
  • Reconcile every movement against an immutable record.
