Sandbox
Test Core without moving real money.
The Core sandbox is a complete, isolated copy of the production environment. You can create ledger accounts, issue cards, simulate authorizations, and trigger payouts — all without moving real money or affecting any real customer. It is the right place to develop your integration end-to-end before requesting production credentials.
Sandbox credentials are different from production credentials and the two are not interchangeable. Always confirm which environment your code is pointed at before running anything.
Before you start
You need a Mono account with sandbox access enabled. Generate a sandbox API key in the Dashboard under Settings → API keys, environment Sandbox.
